Day Three-In The Midst of A Storm: Coranavirus

I had a vision that the church would pull away. It was realized this Sunday. The established church has decided to give in to the fear and not meet. Meanwhile there are still venues open that cater to the basest human expression. The strongest message is that you don't have any refuge now. You are alone. Your god is not big enough.

Any church who remains open during this pandemic is considered dangerous. The government hasn't as yet decided to penalize those churches that decide to remain open. It is coming though. This is just a test. The powers that be want to see who are committed Christians and who will fall away. They mean to sever us from our refuge and take our freedom to worship away. They mean to push us all online so they can manipulate the message.

I had a vision that many will fall away because the church has decided to close its doors. They fear this dreaded virus. They can't believe in God anymore. They send the wrong message to our young people by saying that meeting together physically is wrong and dangerous. Yes, I do understand the need. I understand the fear too.

We've forgotten the God of the Bible. We preach a difference gospel telling everyone that God is a God of Love. Yes, it is true that God is Love, yet it is also true that God hates sin. He is a God of wrath. We can't continue on this path of neglecting the assembling of each other and exhortation. Satan loves the closing of these churches. It is in his best interest to pull the church away and make it ineffective. The verse that has stuck in my mind as I contemplate the current situation is Hebrews 10:25. "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the matter of some is; but exhorting one another and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." KJV.

I don't think God is happy that so many churches have decided to close their doors out of fear. There are still many that are disenfranchised that don't have the resources to go online or they just don't want to give into that. I predict that there will be home churches springing up to fill that need.
